Hi,
I am having a problem with my headset.
I have the newest ROM installed on my M600.

My problem is that when I use my headset the person on the otherside is complaining that it is too loud, ie. painful, or as if I am yelling.

I have no idea what to do, I have the microphone gain (including bluetooth headset gain) set to the minimum and it is still too loud.

If I can get this working then this phone is perfect.

Please help me.

thanks in advnace

I don't know if this might help, but try to play with this settings in registry:

\\\registry\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\MicVolume - I set it to 16 (decimal), I believe it was 8 before

\\\registry\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\SpkVolume - I set it to 34 (decimal), I believe it was 22 before, but I am not sure

I wish I could boost my BT volume up a bit, but these settings doesn't work for me for some reason.
Yesterday I reinstalled 215 ROM and it seems like I don't have these values at all in my registry. Weird...

Try to add them. I had them on my previous installation (215 ROM), but after reinstalling I lost them.

When I played with setting it didn't seem to affect my volume, but I am glad that it helped Stoma!

Hello Stactum,

Do you have any keyregistry to change for getting more volume (SMS notify, rings) and louder phone's speaker ?

Thanks for help.

Unfortunately no, I don't.

I am pretty satisfied with my ring/sms/speaker-on volume. I wish my BT headset and regular phone volume could be a little louder.
